Since 1994, Fran has been coaching, mentoring, and advising entrepreneurs, executives, and other high-performing individuals to achieve transformation in their businesses and personal lives.
She’s worked with executives from Fortune 100 companies, multi-billion dollar entrepreneurs and their teams, small business owners, and solopreneurs. She’s worked with individuals from high school age to people in their 80’s.
While the focus of her coaching often begins with business, clients often find themselves covering everything from relationships and how to live their best lives to spiritual practices, as well as learning and applying new communication, people reading, and cultivating curiosity skills.
In the early ‘90s, she identified curiosity as the leading quality behind peak performance. This led her to work with some of the world’s leading innovators in human development, organizational learning, and psychology, as well as studying both the science behind and real-world applications of curiosity.
While curiosity is often held as a strong desire to know something, showing interest, or asking a lot of questions, Fran approaches curiosity as an intangible force which can be observed, learned, and measured. She developed the Curiosity Cultivators™, a large set of teachable curiosity skills, and has proven the effectiveness of her approach over the last 30 years within corporate and public settings through training workshops and coaching sessions with both groups and individuals.
She holds multiple certifications and decades of hands-on training from many disciplines, from the very first coaching classes in the 1980’s with Thomas Leonard, founder of ICF, and dozens of other learning pioneers and innovators. She’s attended high performance leadership trainings; danced with Gabriel Roth; found out how fast she could read in Mastery of Learning; and enjoyed many extensive Zen and spiritual practices, including traveling for 3 years with a Zen monk; sitting and attending retreats with many masters, such as Amma and Gangaji; practiced Ho’oponpono with Dr. Hew Len; participated in learning conferences with Dr. Charles Spielberger, Fritjof Capra, and Ilya Prigogine, PhD, Peter Senge, and Betty Sue Flowers, as well as lived in places around the world.
Fran often volunteers for causes and people close to her heart, including Equality Now, The Broadway Theater Institute, The Houston Area Women’s Center, young start-ups, and those who have no idea where to begin. She has collaborated on developing movie scripts, helped edit and get books published, produced shows around the country, and continues to help develop uplifting events, entertainment, and media.
Fran loves to work deeply with clients in highly customized packages designed for specific results, helping them achieve their dreams.
